Following its success in December 2015, the 2nd Conference on Contemporary Issues in Banking will take place on Tuesday 12 December 2017 – Wednesday 13 December 2017 at the Centre for Responsible Banking & Finance, University of St Andrews.

Call for Papers

Papers are invited on contemporary issues in banking. Submissions may address topics that include, but are not limited to:RBF logo

  • bank failures
  • competition and market power issues
  • executive compensation and corporate governance of financial institutions
  • liquidity and capital management
  • bank taxation
  • ownership forms and bank business models
  • provisioning and earnings management
  • risk measurement and management
  • shadow banking and systemic institutions
  • bank regulation and supervision.
