Helen Chambers co-founded Inspiring Scotland, a leading philanthropy organisation which invests money and expertise in the voluntary sector to tackle some of Scotland's most critical social issues. Since its launch in 2009, Inspiring Scotland has fund-managed £140m, worked with 300 charities and transformed the lives of more than 200,000 people.

As Deputy Chief Executive and leading on strategy, Helen has been at the forefront of Inspiring Scotland's work, designing and developing innovative programmes to address difficult social problems. She was previously Head of Child Poverty for Scottish Government where she designed the £50m Working for Families Fund and has been an active member of a number of voluntary organisations. Helen is a member of the Commission on School Reform.
