Scanning requests

No copies supplied by Special Collections may be further reproduced without written permission. Copying of Special Collections material is undertaken subject to approval and as time permits.

Terms and Conditions

Where the material, from which the copy has been requested, is still within copyright, the copy is supplied to you on condition that:    

a) You have not previously been supplied with a copy of the same material by ourselves or any other librarian

b) You will not use the copy except for research or private study and will not supply a copy of it to any other person: and

c) To the best of your knowledge no other person with whom you work or study has made or intends to make, at about the same time as this request, a request for substantially the same material for substantially the same purpose.

You understand that if the declaration is false the copy supplied to you will be an infringing copy and that you shall be liable for infringement of copyright as if you had made the copy yourself.

Where the rights in the material supplied to you rest with the University of St Andrews, no further copying or reproduction is allowed without the written permission of the Head of Special Collections.
