Monday 29 June 2015

As part of the Institute of Photography in Scotland’s Season of Photography 2015, an event:

"Family Snap to Historical Artefact: Understanding and Caring for your Old Photographs" will take place at Martyr's Kirk, North Street giving you the chance to learn more about your Victorian photograph albums, single images, and photographic processes. This drop-in event is free and there is no need to book.

Photographic experts, historians and digitisation specialists from the Institute of Conservation and University of St Andrews Special Collections will be on hand to give you advice and you will also have the chance to take a look at a handling collection of 19th century photographic materials.

So dust off your old family albums, take great aunt Betty’s photograph from the mantelpiece, and bring them to Martyr's Kirk on Friday, 3 July, between 10am and 4.30pm!
