Images of the Scot Collection

‌The Scot collection was presented to St Leonard's College in 1620 and 1646 by Sir John Scot of Scotstarvit (1585-1670) and his friends for the formation of a 'class library' in the humanities (Sir John Scot graduated from St Leonard's College in 1605). It contains 64 volumes of continental works of the 16th and 17th centuries, chiefly in the humanities (classics and history).
