St Andrews Research Repository
St Andrews Research Repository is the official institutional research repository for the University of St Andrews.
The repository contains electronic theses and research publications including articles, conference proceedings, working papers and some research monographs. It also contains material and publications affiliated to the University and arising from specific projects. Open Access is provided for all research publications in the repository, and wherever possible (following embargoes) for electronic theses.
The University requires submission of an electronic version of theses. For help with electronic thesis deposit see Library webpages on how to submit your electronic copy or contact Digital-Repository@st-andrews.ac.uk.
The full text of research papers can be submitted to the repository via Pure, the University's research information system. For help see our guide: How to deposit in Pure or contact the Open Access team at email@example.com.
Repository services staff are delivering hosted publications through the St Andews Research Repository platform. These include:
- A series of research monographs for the Centre for French History and Culture entitled St Andrews Studies in French History and Culture
- A Technical report series for the Centre for Research into Ecological & Environmental Modelling (CREEM)
- A project to provide full text content of Sustainable Development Commission reports in collaboration with the St Andrews Sustainability Institute (SASI)
- Some pilot digitised Special Collections content
The Repository team offers support on how to make your publications open access and how to comply with research funders' open access policies.
The Library offers a Journal Hosting Service for academic staff and students. The service uses Open Journal Systems (OJS) to support the publishing process, including submission, peer-review and online publication.
