Access and borrowing

The Thomson Research Reading Room of The Richardson Research Library at Martyrs Kirk is for the use of staff and postgraduate students. Entry to the room is controlled using card swipe access. Consultation of material within Special Collections Napier Reading Room is by appointment, please contact the Special Collections Division: call 01334 462339/7380 or email speccoll@st-andrews.ac.uk.

Printing, Photocopying and Scanning

There is a print/copy station in a room leading from the Thomson Reading Room.

Networked PCs

There are a small number of desktop PCs in the print/copy station.

Study desks

There are 40, first-come-first-served, generously-proportioned study desks in the Thomson Research Reading Room. Each desk has an individual heater, double sockets and touch-sensitive dimmable angle poise lamps.
