CREATe is funded by the Research Councils UK and is based at the University of Glasgow, which leads a consortium of 7 Universities: the University of East Anglia, the  University of Edinburgh, Goldsmiths (University of London), the University of Nottingham, the University of St. Andrews and the University of Strathclyde. The research focus of ICC's work within the consortium is the management of Intellectual Property Assets for creative SMEs.
