He lodged Sir Donald Mackay Lord Reay in autumn 1643 and members of British embassies to Denmark between 1643-4, probably Colonels John Cochrane and John Henderson. Skotte lived until 1645, in Oster kvarter no.6 with his unnamed wife, a coachman and two maids, all over 15 years old. The house was assessed at 500 rixdollars in 1653.
