Robert Shearer, a burgess of Aberdeen, was resident in Danzig in 1626.
That year in May he was back in Aberdeen and authorised Mr James Morrison to undertake business on his behalf, and in June he did the same for Thomas Nicolson when the latter was in Danzig. These transactions involved land in Aberdeen, whereby Shearer was transferring sasines to another Aberdeen burgess resident in Danzig, Mr James Rolland.
