Captain Arnold Cosby was an English or Anglo-Irish officer in the 1580s. He served as a captain in Dutch employ between 1586 and 1587. He may have served briefly as a captain in Ireland. On 14 January 1591/2, he killed John, 2nd Baron Bourke of Connell for which he was apprehended and hanged by the end of the month.
