Elisabeth Henderson's name appears on the Consistory Court Records of Stockholm on 4 September 1595. The name Henderson appears in the index but the name on the document is clearly Henricksdotter, so we may never know her real name. The document is equally emphatic that Elisabeth is a Scot ("een Skottz qwinna"). She married William Forbes [SSNE 7294] "the year the king [Sigismund Vasa] went to Poland" (1594), but later accused of abandoning her and moving to Poland. She had previously been married with another Scot, "Hillebrandh Panton" [SSNE 1768] with whom she had had a child.
