Captain William Edmonstone was a Scottish officer in Dutch service in the 1570s. He appears in the pay lists of Holland in 1573-1574 and 1575-1577. It is possible he is related to Captain John Edmonstone [SSNE 8135], whose service ran concurrently to Captain William's.
