Thomas Abircrombæus matriculated at the Seminary of Braunsberg in the diocese of Ermland (Warmia) on 27 September 1599 along with fellow Scot David Kinard [SSNE 7876]. He was later sent to Vilnius in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth to continue his studies.
