John Prince (died 1640) was an itinerant musician on the continent. He spent twenty years at the Wurttemberg court, between 1605-25, in Stuttgart; from 1629-33 he was at Dresden; and in 1634 he was at the Danish royal court in Copenhagen. He finally settled in Vienna.
