Alexander Kinnemond served as an officer in the regiment of Colonel Hugh Hamilton and then in the Lifeguard. Axel Oxenstierna wrote a reccomentdation for him in 1646 in which he stated he was more than a little obliged to Kinnemond after his wife had breast-fed Oxentsierna's grand-daughter.
Swedish Riksarkivet, Oxenstiernska samlingen Axel Oxenstierna av Södermöre, E 536. Axel Oxenstierna to Gabriel Bengtsson Oxenstierna (Governor of Livonia), 19 May 1646.
It may be this man noted by the Swedish Colonel Johann von Koppey in a letter to Feld-Marshall Carl Gustav Wrangel. Koppey informed Wrangel that his former major, Kinnemond, had died in this month during an assault on a fortification at Prague during the legendary attempt to conquer the whole town. Beda Franziskus Dudík, Schweden in Böhmen und Mähren 1640-1650 (Vienna, 1879), p. 341. Dudik bases this on a letter in the archives of Wrangel in Skokloster dated 10/20 October 1647. We thank Dr Bernd Warlich for providing this information.
