Charles Jeffereys was the son of Brigadier General Sir James Jeffereys [SSNE 4904]. It is not clear if Gustav returned to Ireland with his father in 1690, or was even born in Ireland thereafter. He certainly served as a soldier in Queen Anne's army in 1710, being killed at Narva that year. He had two brothers, Gustav [SSNE 7267] and James [SSNE 4902].
