Mr Fenton was a merchant linked to the joint stock company run by Andrew Russell [SSNE 143] and Patrick Thomson [SSNE 6475]. He was based in the Memel and gave money to John Gib Younger [SSNE 7072] when his ship became stranded in Heyligona in September 1687-May 1688. Fenton gave the cash on the advice of James Adie [SSNE 7080] in Danzig.
