William Cheaslain worked in Middelburg in March 1685. he was part of the Scottish network of Andrew Russell [SSNE 143]. On advice from Patrick Thomson [Perhaps SSNE 6475], merchant in Edinburgh, Cheaslain sent Russell 200 guilders and asked that advice be sent to the house of Mr George Ker and that Thomson may be acquainted of it.
