Dorothea Anderson was the daughter of Alexander Anderson [SSNE 1891] and Sofia Wilhelmsdotter von Estorph [SSNE 6256] who was herself born in Scotland. She had brothers Herman Alexander and Vilhelm Jakob who were also in Swedish service as well as several sisters. Dorothea married Eric Claesson in Sweden
