Peter Forbes was the son of Jacob Forbes of Thainstone [SSNE 779]. He married Margareta Swinhulvud of Qvalstad. He had several brothers including Jacob [SSNE 375] and Henrik [SSNE 2235]. It is probable that he lived in Finland. Peter and Margareta had a daughter called Anna Christina who married her cousin Cavalry Captain Claes Anckarfjell who was the son of a major of the same name and his wife Beata Forbes [SSNE 6371]A. and H.
