Alexander Guthrie was amongst the Scots and English in Zamosc who subscribed to the subsidy for King Charles II in 1651. In total they paid 8053/2 1/2 florins. He may have been the same as Alexander Guthrie who was captured by the Poles whilst in Swedish service on campaign in Russia during 1614-16, who then joined the Polish-Lithuanian army and fought against RussiaA.B.
