Anna Thomson was the daughter of Colonel Thomas Thomson [SSNE 1648] and his wife Catherine Murray. Anna married Colonel John Gordon [SSNE 2515], who died in 1653. She then married John Maclean, 1st Baronet [SSNE 1631] in his third marriage around 1659. Anna died after suffering a chest and arm infection and was buried on 15 January 1686 in Gothenburg along with her husband.
