John Collison (f.1664-1675) from Aberdeen worked as an itinerant artist in Europe. In May 1661 he was in Heirat but by 1665 could be found at the Court of the Polish king, Jan Casimir, who gave him a reccomendation. Collison was last heard of in Vienna in 1675Allgemeines Kunsterlexicon Internationale Kunstlerdatenbank and Allgemeines Kunsterlexicon XX, 1998, p.338.
