In 1625 Alexander Robertson, a Scottish trader, took the oath, paid 40 florins, a stone of gunpowder and a musket to be admitted a citizen of Cracow. A bond of caution was made for him to present his birthbrieve, which was provided with the seal of the city of Lublin, dated 23 June 1626
