On 12 November 1625 Nathaniel Kieyth, merchant, having proved his genealogy on 31 March, took the oath, paid 50 florins, a musket and a stone of gunpowder in order to become a citizen of Cracow. He promised to marry or acquire land within a year or lose his rights. He also called on William Peterson(SSNE 5119) and John Burnett (SSNE 5072), both traders and citizens of Cracow, who declared that Nathaniel was the son of Albert Keyth of Scotland, a well-known gentleman and his mother Agnes, who were both Catholics.A.F.
