On 28 September 1624 John Hunter took the oath and became a citizen of Cracow. He paid the Treasury 80 florins and promised a musket and a stone of gunpowder. He promised to provide a birthbrieve within 3 months against the penalty of loss of money paid and civic rights gained. Thomas Orem (SSNE ?) and Bartholomew Burnet (SSNE 5073) stood as cautions for him. The birthbrieve dated Aberdeen 15 October 1616 was shown on 31 December 1624 and Orem and Burnet released as cautionsA.F.
