ALANTH, JOHN [SSNE 5066]
Text source
In 1573 John Alanth from Aberdeen supplied a birthbrieve and paid 2 florins to be admitted a citizen of Cracow. Finally in 1617 a widow of John Alant (not clear which one) called Anna sought confirmation of her grandson John Kramy's parentage. Anna appears to have remarried after Alant's death, and two merchant burgesses of Cracow, George Emzle (cf SSNE 5094)and Tomas Orem (cf SSNE?) testified to the fact that Anna Aland and John Kramy were the parents of John Kramy.A.F.
