OXENSTIERNA, HENRY [SSNE 4753]
- First name
- Social status
Text sourceAlthough Loomie appears to note that Henry Oxenstierna, the son of the Swedish regent Axel Oxenstierna, was in London in 1634, most Swedish sources only refer to Johan Axelsson Oxenstierna as the Swedish agent at the Stuart court in 1634. His mission, to obtain British levies for the Swedish army, was ultimately unsuccessful.
