Andrew Wishart is listed amongst the burgesses of Gothenburg in 1625. Dalhede notes three separate individuals trading to Scotland from Gothenburg between 1638 and 1654 and these are probably all the same man. The first shipment was to London in 1638; there were two to Scotland in 1641, first timber to Crail and then simply "Scotland"; and finally the 1654 shipment was again to "Scotland". He may have had some connection to James Wishart [SSNE 7251].
