Alexander Ferne was a Scottish officer in Swedish service. He was a captain in Colonel Alexander Gray's [SSNE 378] company in 1612. Two years later hewas found guilty
of manslaughter in Stockholm in 1614 but pardoned on payment of
300 dalers
