Ian Wood is listed in Alexander Leslie's regiment and company in 1632. Perhaps the same man that enlists as an officer to serve the Tsar with Colonel Urrie and others in 1647. See D. Fedosov, The Caledonian Connection (Aberdeen, 1996) citing (RGADA,f.150, op.1, 1647, o. 27 and f.210,op.1,No.78).
