Albert Stewart was a Scottish officer in Russian service. In 1678 he was an ensign in Paul Menzies' [SSNE 4015] regiment during the 2nd Chigirin campaign. In 1683 he was captain lieutenant, and was demanded by David W. Graham for his regiment. In the 1690s there was a lieutenant colonel Stuart mentioned by Patrick Gordon [SSNE 3903] who was possibly the same manD.
