George Keith was a lieutenant colonel who served in Ireland and Muscovy. He was the younger brother of Robert Keith of Kindruct. His relative was probably Juliana Keith, whose wedding to Lieutenant Colonel Winram in Moscow, in 1663, was witnessed by Patrick Gordon.
