Thomas Sanderson served as captain in James Spens' [SSNE 1642]regiment in 1629. He was captain in George Crawford's [SSNE 2086]regiment in 1630 and noted as a major by 1632. This is probably the same Thomas Sanderson who enlists in the Russian army in 1632
