Andrew Pitblade was a Scottish officer in Swedish service. He was a reformed ensign in George Crawford's [SSNE 2086] regiment in 1630 and a reformed lieutenant in John Hamilton's [SSNE 2595] regiment in 1631. He was confirmed lieutenant in 1632 the same year the regiment transferred to the command of Ludovick Leslie [SSNE 396]. Under his command it participated at LutzenSwedish Krigsarkiv, Muster Roll, 1630/28; 1631/12-15; 1632/31.
