Robert Kerr was a Scottish officer in Swedish service. He was a captain in William Bellenden's [SSNE 1969] regiment. Part of this regiment participated at the battle of Lutzen in 1632 under the command of Ludovick Leslie. Cf. [SSNE 2784].
