Ludovick Drummond entered Swedish service in the 1650's, after service at the Battle of Worcester on the Royalist side in 1651. He served as a lieutenant colonel in William Cranstoun's [SSNE 2101] regiment from 1656-1658. Some sources say he was killed at the siege of Copenhagen on 3 January 1658/1659 and was buried at Elsinore, though others put the date at 11/21 February 1659
