Andrew Fraser was a Scottish officer in Swedish service. He was captain of the Halland regiment. In 1666 he received authority to become general adjutant of the Livland foot militia (Krigskolleg.diarium). In 1680 he became major in the Skane infantry regiment. In 1681 he became major in Jvon Cronman's Skane infantry. In 1683 he was captain. In 1684 he became major. In 1685 he was in Funcken's regiment. In 1686 he was in the Ingermanland garrison regiment.
