Text source

The first mention of any Lieutenant Christie is in the muster of James Ramsay's [SSNE 3315] Scottish regiment on December 1628. Thereafter, another Lieutenant Richard Christie can be found in Andrew Dunn's [SSNE 4834]recruited infantry squadron. He later appeared as a captain in David Drummond's [SSNE 2396] recruited regiment, and finally ryttmastare in Johan Lilliehook's recruited cavalry regiment. They are probably the same man
