Constantine Campbell was the grandson of the Scot, Major Carl Campbell, and son of Daniel Campbell and Catharina Grubbe. He was born c.1669 and later served as an NCO in the Östgötaregiment. He married Elisabeth Gyllenollou but had several affairs and illegitimate children. Due to illness, Campbell left service on 10 September 1699 and he died in the early 1700s.
