On 17 September 1687, Hans Cahun became an arklimästre in the Narva and Ivangorod artillery. He lived until 1701 and had married Anna Elisabet Hochmuth in her second marriage. Hans was the grandson of the Scottish factory owner in Falu, Peter Cahun [SSNE 4774]
