I am a Research Fellow in the Population and Health Research Group. My research interests include partnerships, families, and fertility; residential mobility and housing; life course research; cross-national comparisons; and longitudinal data analysis. Previously, I have worked on the PartnerLife Project which studied the interrelationship between partner relationships, residential relocations and housing in the life course in the UK, Netherlands, and Germany. I hold a PhD in social statistics and demography from the University of Southampton. My PhD research investigated the intersection between partnership experiences and the transition to motherhood in several European countries and the United States using multi-state event history models. My background is in sociology and demography; I studied at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary; Utrecht University, the Netherlands; and I participated in the European Doctoral School of Demography (EDSD) hosted by the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research in Rostock, Germany and the Centre for Economic Demography at Lund University, Sweden.
