Tuesday 29 November 2011

An inter-discplinary team from the department of Geography & Sustainable Development has been successful in securing ESPRC funding for knowledge exchange work on ‘Community energy transformation routes: developing visions and enabling decisions (CERT)’.

The team, comprising of Dr Louise Reid (PI), Dr Darren McCauley, Dr Rehema White, Prof Colin Hunter and Prof Duncan Maclennan have been successful in securing £3k to run a series of events which will bring interdisciplinary groups together in St Andrews with a view to widening collaborations, initiating new lines of research and providing leadership development opportunities. CERT has been funded by the EPSRC Strategic Partnership Fund and will bring together academic and non-academic stakeholders interested in community energy research. Events will take place in the Spring and Summer of 2012, with details of these events to follow.
