Death of Dr Kay MacIver

Dr Kay MacIver, a former Head of Geography, died on 15 June 2011 aged 90.

She influenced the lives and aspirations of several generations of Geography students and will be remembered as a friend and colleague by members of staff, past and present. Her considerable contribution to Geography at St Andrews continues through the MacIver Award, which is offered annually to undergraduate students at any level of the Geography programme wishing to travel abroad in pursuit of geographical knowledge.
