Freshers face Fife wind!

Monday 26 September 2016

DGSD staff and first year students recently climbed the Hill of Tarvit, Fife to study the underlying processes governing landscape evolution.

The students enjoyed a blustery introduction to the local landscapes of Fife as well as the social and economic factors which continue to shape this corner of NE Scotland.

The photograph below shows the group close to the sumit, with staff members Keith Bennett, Antje Brown, Tobias Borger, Mike Kesby, Katy Roucoux, Matt Sothern, Charles Warren and Levi Austin pictured (photograph W. Austin).
