Friday 01 July 2016

A team of students and staff have recently returned from Loch Ewe, NW Scotland where they have been sampling as part of a BBSRC/NERC-funded research project to study the occurrence of Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs) in UK coastal waters.

Pictured on the RV Walrus on Loch Ewe are, from left to right, Leonie Strobl (first year), Dr Elena Cappelli (research fellow) and Bethany Hudd (second year). Photograph W. Austin.
