McCollum & Finney at St Andrews Foreign Affairs Conference

Geography lecturers Dr David McCollum and Dr Nissa Finney both gave talks at the well-attended St Andrews Foreign Affairs Conference on Saturday 6th February 2016.

The conference explored the relationship between Migration and the European Union and assessed the role of different actors in shaping the refugee crisis, possible avenues of practical response and its implications on European politics, society, economics, ideology and unity. Dr McCollum discussed environmental migration and Dr Finney focused on the issue of what happens to migrants once they arrive in their host society.
