Three SD Masters students won the World's Challenge Challenge St Andrews Finals

Three of our Sustainable Development Masters students - Desi Kirilova, Rebecca Grattage and Luisa Montes Contreras won the World's Challenge Challenge St Andrews Finals with their project: SustainLabel - Easy Green Choices! We are all very proud of them. It is an outstanding demonstration of going beyond formal learning requirements in seeking to inspire a positive change.

They will be travelling to Western University in early June to compete alongside 18 other universities in the World’s Challenge Challenge Global Final. Their project addresses the issue of unsustainable consumption and production by improving consumer awareness of the sustainability of food products. Their app and website will provide information on the environmental impact of food products, explaining what different eco-labels mean, offering independent advice, and suggesting more environmentally-friendly alternatives.

You can follow them on Facebook and Instagram here! We are very proud of their achievement.
