Sabater Presents at the EU COST Network Training School INTERFASOL at Keele

Monday 08 June 2015

Dr Albert Sabater delivered a presentation on “Upward Health Transfers in Europe” (co-authored with Professor Elspeth Graham) at the EU COST Network Training School INTERFASOL at the University of Keele. Albert’s presentation encouraged participants to think about the benefits of children’s education for parents’ health, providing evidence of how education acts as a family-level resource in the European context.

Academics and practitioners from 25 European countries met in Keele between the 11th and 15th of May 2015 to take part in activities organised as part of the EU COST Action INTERFASOL – Intergenerational Family Solidarity across Europe. The network brings together academic researchers and practitioners to explore ways of supporting family solidarity throughout Europe.
